About Jewish Culture and Jewish Thinking

The Jewish Culture and Jewish Thinking program examines the identity of communities, streams, and phenomena of contemporary Judaism and expressions of Jewish culture, thought, and creativity.
Its activities aim to develop and strengthen a Jewish democratic approach in various sectors of society and as part of the discourse between them, to enhance the common denominator between the various groups and streams on the basis of the freedom of interpretation and accessibility to canonic sources.
The Jewish Culture and Jewish Thinking program is a home for renowned scholars and for young scholars in the humanities and social sciences, thinkers, creators, rabbis, and educators from Israel and abroad.
