Work combined with poverty is a bleak reality. Can this be altered?
A new study presented recently at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute by Miri Endweld from Tel Aviv University shows that a woman’s likelihood of earning a low wage is three times higher than that of a man.
The key for changing this lies in raising the Employment Grant. The Grant should be increased, and its applicability expanded.
