1. Discussion of the Pastoral Letter of H.B. Michel Sabbah, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, dated 1 March 2008. The letter served to introduce the main themes of discussion during the year.
2. Dr. Salim Mumayer introduced his research: 'Complex patterns of cultural allegiances: the ethnic identity of Palestinian Christian Arab adolescents in Israel.'
3. Prof. Victor Azarya discussed his research on the Armenian Quarter and emerging methodological issues.
4. The impact of pilgrimage on the local communities. Discussion with Fr. Christian Eeckhout o.p., professor at the École biblique et archéologique française de Jérusalem and member of the Committee of Christian Pilgrimages of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, and with Fr. Aristobulus of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
5. Dr. Barbara Mayer, Tel Aviv University, The impact of Vatican II on the local Christian communities.
6. Prof. Steven Kaplan presented his current research of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and its community in Jerusalem.
7. Dr. Nurit Stadler, Christian art and anthropology.
8. Prof. Michael Karayanni, the legal status of the Christian communities in Israel.
