Probability has come to play a major role in contemporary physics. Our aim is to study the meaning of probability and its role in quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics. Some of the topics to be discussed are:
- Probability, locality and uncertainty
- Probability in quantum information theory and quantum computation
- Probability in (classical and quantum) statistical mechanics
- Probability and typicality
- Dynamic vs. static probabilities
