A new study claims the government's tax reduction was profitable mainly to the upper decile. Lowering the VAT has improved the condition of the poor, while reducing corporate taxes has improved the condition of the top decile in a higher extent. Over the last year, 41,446 NIS a year were added to the top decile, compared with only 726 to the lowest decile.
