The book The Holocaust and the Nakba: Memory, National Identity and Jewish-Arab Partnership explores the connection between the two events – without either automatic recognition of the other's truth or rejection of the other's self-determination. It is the very juxtaposition of the writing and reading about the two events that creates the jolt, without which there is no hope for national rights and human rights for all inhabitants of this country.
