Noy Brindt, who lives in Haifa, is a lawyer, an economist, and a doctoral candidate in the Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa. He is conducting a multidisciplinary study of the laws pertaining to the civil sector, regulation, and the institutionalization of civil sector organizations. He also takes part in key processes of redesigning public policy and reshaping current legislation towards the Israeli civil sector.

Brindt has been a researcher in the Van Leer Forum for Civil Sector Organizations since 2011, and since 2013 he has participated in the Regulation in Israel research group in the Center for Social Justice and Democracy in Memory of Yaacov Chazan at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute.
