What constitutes the feminist toolbox required at the present historical moment?
\nAgainst the backdrop of an accelerating global transformation \u2013 driven by new technologies, political upheavals, climate change, and the rise of conservative and populist forces \u2013 A Feminist Toolbox in a Changing World<\/em> calls for a renewed examination of the theoretical, methodological, activist, and political tools forged over the years within diverse feminist traditions, and asks which of them remain relevant, which have been eroded, and what is required in order to continue advancing freedom, equality, and gender justice in a changing reality.<\/p>\n

The volume brings together contributions from scholars who work across both academic and activist arenas. Each offers a distinct perspective on a contemporary feminist challenge. Among the issues explored are the crisis of critical theory and the conditions of knowledge in which it operates; the intensification of conservative populism and its implications for gender politics; the erosion of legal, institutional, and social gains; questions of class, poverty, and reproductive labor; and the ways in which emotions such as vulnerability, hope, and frustration are mobilized as resources for social and political change. From the multiplicity of voices assembled in the volume emerges a sharp portrait of a complex historical moment \u2013 one that, on the one hand, threatens the feminist project of emancipation, and on the other, opens new possibilities for thought, political imagination, and the reconstitution of solidarity.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
