This is a fundamental philosophical question that continues to arouse concern, controversy, and curiosity, even some 2,500 years after it was first formulated. In recent years, following the revolution in brain science, the discussion of this question has developed greatly and has expanded to the disciplines of psychology and biology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">At the heart of the book is the magnificent paper of Prof. Yeshayahu Leibowitz, \u201cThe Foundations of the Psycho-Physical Problem.\u201d Reading this classic essay is pure pleasure and a delight for Leibowitz admirers. Nobel Prize winner Prof. Daniel Kahneman examines Leibowitz\u2019s words in light of the psychology of environmental perception.
