Dr. Zohar Elmakias, gave a lecture at Columbia University's Institute for Ideas & Imagination in Paris, as a part of her semester-long fellowship at the Institute. The lecture, titled "Minefield, Temple," presented Elmakias's work on two book manuscripts, a research book and a novel, discussing the intricate relationship between ethnographic and literary writing
