In their new book, 'Lexicon for a Shared Society,' Shuli Dichter and Dr. Ameer Fakhouri (Polonsky Academy Fellow) sought to formulate a language and concepts for those who promote Jewish-Arab partnership. The first volume of the lexicon, recently published by Tesha Neshamot Publishing, is not a dictionary or encyclopedia in the classical sense, but a political-linguistic project. "One of the goals was to establish a language for the people of this place, because they do not have a common language. A language of political imagination, of shared ethics and shared creation. Each term in the lexicon encodes an issue." (Davar, November 2025)
