Government Expenditure as a percent of GDP in 2015: The Lowest in 49 Years / Moti Bassok, The Marker 13/6/2016 (Hebrew)

According to a new study by Prof. Lea Achdut, Prof. Michel Strawczynski, and Gal Ben Horin of the Van Leer Institute, government expenditure in Israel decreased during the last decade by 6.8% of GDP – in contrast to the current trend in OECD countries.

The study will be presented at the seventh budget conference of the Economics and Society program at the Van Leer Institute, which will be held on 26 June 2016.
