One of the Unique Aspects of the Book is the Philosophical Depths Which the Author Fathoms / Ben-Zion Ovadia, Iyyun 66, October 2017 (Hebrew)

In his book The Languages of Talmudic Discourse: A Philosophical Study of the Evolution of Amoraic Halakha, Ariel Furstenberg has undertaken an important and challenging task: to propose methodological and philosophical tools for analysis and characterization of the dynamics in which the Halachic concepts and approaches are formed and developed in the Babylonian Talmud. This challenge has an opposite and complementary dimension – to present the contribution of Talmudic modes of discourse to philosophical discourse dealing with language and language dynamics.
