When Arabic Is Spoken at the Knesset / Yonatan Mendel, "Haaretz" Opinion 14/5/2016 (Hebrew)

Immediately on its return from recess, the Knesset – for the first time in its history – will mark Arabic Language Day. The date has been set for 24.5; the aim is to promote the Arabic language in Israel, increase its presence in the public sphere, and to discuss initiatives for studying Arabic and improving its public status.
