Is it permissible to require vaccination of individuals in order to promote the health of the collective?

How much individual liberty does one have in decisions pertaining to one’s life and health?

The coronavirus pandemic has heightened the tension between individual rights and the public good in a wide range of areas. The vaccination issue is one of the clearest manifestations of this tension. In this panel discussion we will present the basic questions regarding vaccination and solidarity that pertain to Israel.

Prof. Dani Filc and Dr. Shelly Kamin-Friedman will present the theoretical and practical aspects of Israel’s vaccination policy.
