Grant Writer and Resource Development Coordinator – Maternity Leave Cover

Job Description

Writing: Drafting grant proposals, research and background documents, reports for foundations and donors, internal documents for the Institute’s management and Board of Directors, public relations materials, and additional content in accordance with the Institute’s needs.

Grant Management: Monitoring grants, commitments, reporting requirements, and deadlines, while ensuring high-quality and timely submissions. Working closely and regularly with department and unit heads to develop proposals, gather information, and prepare reports. Preparing budgets for proposals and reports in collaboration with the Institute’s professional and financial teams.

Administration: Managing the administrative activities related to resource development, including registration in systems and databases, handling bureaucratic processes with external parties, preparing and submitting organizational documents, and maintaining ongoing records of the department’s activities.

Full-time position (100%)

Start Date: 23 August 2026

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to understand the Institute’s fields of research.
  • Excellent writing skills in English and Hebrew.
  • Experience in grant writing and fundraising – a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Familiarity with Excel and experience preparing budgets – an advantage.
  • Administrative experience, task-prioritization skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social sciences or humanities.
