Gisele Charak

Project Administrative Coordinator

Gisele holds a BA in Sociology, Anthropology and Political Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and an M.A. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She has extensive experience as an educator and academic coordinator. She served as an educator in the MIT-affiliated MEET program to foster entrepreneurship, leadership and dialogue between Palestinian and Israeli youth.
Gisele coordinates research and public projects in the Israel in the Middle East theme at the VLJI. Originally from Brazil, she currently lives in Jerusalem. Gisele is also a social activist for equality between Israelis and Palestinians, a facilitator for healthy sexuality at “Ladaat, Choose Well,” and a facilitator in the organizations “Can Think” and “Sadaka-Reut.”
