Prof. Avinoam Rosenak
Senior Research Fellow
Prof. Avinoam Rosenak is a senior lecturer in the Departments of Jewish Thought and Jewish Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He completed his BA (1991), MA (1993), and PhD (1997) at the Hebrew University. He completed his postdoctoral research at Harvard University (2002). His fields of research are modern Jewish philosophy and the philosophy of the Halakhah (Jewish law) in the modern era, the philosophy of Jewish education, and the connection between theology and politics. Prof. Rosenak holds the Mandel Chair in Jewish Education, is a research fellow at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, and is the codirector of Siach Shalom.
