Born in Jerusalem. Yeshiva education (rabbinical track in Beit Morasha in Jerusalem). Earned a BA in literature and history from the Open University and an MA in Jewish history from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A doctoral candidate and teaching in a variety of educational and academic institutions.
