Anat is a doctoral candidate in the Gender Studies program at Bar-Ilan University. She has a BA in cognitive science and the Amirim Interdisciplinary Honors Program in the Humanities and an MA in Jewish thought, both cum laude, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Anat lives in a cooperative community in Jerusalem and is a feminist activist in the areas of reproductive rights and accessibility of contraception and abortion. Anat has worked at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute since 2018 as editorial coordinator of the academic journal Theory and Criticism.
