Lea Berdugo

Lea has an MA in political science from the University of Paris 8. Her thesis was on the circumstances that affect activism in general and the anti-racism movements in particular. She also has an MA in journalism, radio, and television from the École supérieure de journalisme de Paris. As a journalist, Lea worked for international television channels as a field reporter and as a political reporter, news announcer, and editor. She covered several international events, including the discussions regarding Iran’s nuclear capability; the elections in the United States, France, and Holland; and the United Nations General Assembly in 2018. Lea specializes in political and social topics and directed a documentary about migrant workers employed as caregivers. Lea is now the coordinator of project development and fundraising at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute and she is also continuing her work as a journalist for French public radio (Radio France).
