Xinyi Chen
Junior Scholar in Residence
I am a PhD student at the Department of Middle Eastern Studies, University of Cambridge. My current research focuses on a Hebrew-Arabic bilingual binational literary journal published in Israel in the 1960s-1990s, Mifgash-Liqa', in which Israeli Jews of Middle Eastern background and Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel played a central role. Through the project, I explore literature and identity, culture and politics, and minority narratives. I previously obtained bachelor’s degree at Cornell University in Near Eastern Studies and master’s degrees at Columbia University and the LSE in International and World History.
List of Publications:
