The Annual Conference of the Society for the History and Philosophy of Science provides an opportunity for scholars in the humanities and social sciences who address the historical development and social and cultural influences of science and upon science to meet and learn about the research of members of their community. The conference is conducted in Hebrew, and in addition to group discussions there is a plenary meeting for discussion of various issues of concern to the society. The annual conference has taken place at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute since 2017.
