The incubator for young scholars engaging in feminist research examines key concepts in contemporary feminist thought, under the guidance of a leading scholar in this field. Each meeting begins with a lecture by a leading feminist scholar who presents a theoretical discussion of a key concept in her research and leads the discussion among the participants. The incubator’s goal is to create a nation-wide community of young researchers that will challenge the dogmas in the field of feminist research and gender studies, and that will be open to creative and sophisticated ways of thinking about feminist concepts, and their validity for contemporary feminist research and for other areas of critical thought.

In the first year, the concepts discussed included: Political Subjectivity, Violence, Care, Time, Safe Space, Crying, Persistent Trauma, and Incest. In 2020 the meetings will focus on the following concepts: Consent, Agency, Intersectionality, and Political Imagination.
